The Client
The Project
Inova Contracts has supplied a range of bespoke designed, recyclable and eco-friendly furniture to Acorn House in London’s Shoreditch.
Acorn House is London’s first eco-friendly restaurant, which has been set up by The Shoreditch Trust, Terrence Higgins Trust and Bliss Restaurant Consultancy.
Working closely with Bliss and Waugh Thistleton Architects, Inova’s solution was to supply Catifa ‘46’ polypropylene bi-colour white/lime green chairs, which can be fully recycled, and Johanson’s tables – whose oak tops were from sustainable forests in Scandinavia. The X-pattern table bases were designed and manufactured specially for Acorn House, which allow for unusually large table tops and for minimal intrusion of the floor space.
